Outpost Red - 2025

A deep dive into real-time UI architecture, Outpost Red is an Unreal Engine portfolio project focused on crafting a production-ready sci-fi interface. Grounded in original concept art depicting a contaminated Martian-inspired colony, the project showcases the full pipeline of a UI Artist: designing clean visual hierarchies, building modular asset libraries, and implementing interactive game screens natively within UMG.


TideHollow - 2025

A deep dive into asset creation and scene assembly, TideHollow is a technical concept art project focused on translating original worldbuilding into production-ready 3D assets. The project highlights a complete high-to-low poly workflow: utilizing Blender for initial architectural layouts, ZBrush for organic adobe sculpting and character design, and Substance Painter for complex, salt-crusted and sun-bleached PBR texturing. The final assets are assembled in Unreal Engine 5, balancing heavy scene density with cinematic lighting.


Wings of Wanitu - 2025

A deep dive into immersive, spatial user interfaces, Wings of Wanitu highlights the unique design challenges of Virtual Reality. As the lead for UI architecture and visual development, my objective was to create a functional, diegetic cockpit interface that feels fully native to a stylized flight simulator. The project demonstrates a rigorous pipeline—moving from initial 2D UI concepts to 3D engine-ready assets—while managing the strict optimization and spatial awareness required for smooth real-time VR performance.


Home Run Derby VR - 2023

Developed in collaboration with Major League Baseball (MLB) and deployed at the All-Star Game Championship, Home Run Derby VR is a high-performance sports simulation. Serving as the Lead Architect for the game’s UI Visual Identity, my objective was to engineer a clean, high-performance interface that feels completely native to a spatial environment. Using Figma and Photoshop, I established a comprehensive design system governing complex HUD elements, dynamic meters, and button components—all meticulously optimized to meet the strict hardware and frame-rate constraints of the Meta Quest.


Starquest - 2020

Driven by rigorous world-building mechanics, StarQuest highlights the ability to cross-pollinate hard-surface industrial engineering with organic character design. This project documents a comprehensive ideation pipeline, showing how to breakdown and resolve complex visual problems across multiple genres. From deep-sea exploration vessels to armored robotic units and creature mounts, each design is built from the ground up with strict attention to utility, scaling, and real-world industrial reference.

The Concept This curated selection serves as a technical showcase of my early design range. It features a broad spectrum of subjects, including submersibles, heavy mechs, and prehistoric riding creatures. The goal was to push the boundaries of functional design, ensuring every mechanical or biological feature felt plausible within its universe.
