Project Info
The Concept Outpost Red explores the aftermath of an extraterrestrial contamination event on a long-range planetary expedition. The project highlights the juxtaposition of sterile, white aerospace technology against a visceral, bioluminescent infection. Every element, from the rover's heavy-duty tread to the astronaut's ruptured suit, is designed to evoke a sense of isolation and biological terror in a desolate, Martian-inspired environment.
Execution: The pipeline began with iterative sketches to refine the rover’s silhouette, followed by a detailed hard-surface build in Blender. The creature was sculpted in ZBrush, blending realism with abstract growth, and textured in Substance Painter with contrasting ceramic and fleshy materials. Lighting emphasized scale, framing the rover as a fragile safe haven.

The design prioritizes functional immersion, featuring hover-sensitive buttons and a dynamic atmospheric controller. This project demonstrates an expert grasp of UMG (Unreal Motion Graphics) and event-driven architecture to bridge the gap between aesthetic menu systems and live-world interaction.
