Project Info
The Concept For Tide-Hollow: The Silt-Step Colonies, I developed a coastal fishing settlement defined by a culture in symbiosis with the rising tides. The project features modular, bulbous adobe dwellings and stilt-based architecture designed for maritime survival, with every prop—from drying racks to hand-woven baskets—supporting a grounded, lived-in narrative.
The Execution My workflow moved from 2D sketches and Blender blockouts to ZBrush for organic sculpting and Substance Painter for realistic salt-crusted and sun-bleached textures. The primary challenge was managing complex scene density; I used Unreal Engine’s lighting and volumetric fog to maintain clear focal points and atmospheric depth. This project demonstrates a full production pipeline, bridging technical asset creation with cohesive worldbuilding.
